Transfers (Payouts)

This page shows you how to make transfers locally and Internationally.

Rave allows you to initiate single and bulk transfers to bank accounts and make transfers to vendors all from your rave profile. You can either use the money you have earned as income i.e. Money collected from your customer's using rave or fund your balance on rave to initiate transfers to bank accounts & mobile money wallets in:

Transfers can be done from the dashboard or using our APIs. We would describe the process to complete a transfer on your rave dashboard below.

Completing a transfer on your rave dashboard

Start by navigating to the Transfers section on your dashboard. You need to ensure your available balance is funded, see how to do that here.

  • Select the option to create a New transfer
  • Choose the rave balance you would like to debit for your transfer.
  • Select the currency you want to transfer in and enter the amount.
  • Enter a new account detail or select an existing recipient.
  • Click on proceed to complete your transfer.

Transfers from another currency balance

Rave allows you to initiate transfers to multiple currencies from each currency balance on your account. The exchange rate in the currency you would be transferring to would be displayed on the transfers page.

The dashboard also allows you complete bulk transfers by uploading your the accounts you want to transfer to in a .csv file.

Completing a transfer via API

Transfers can be completed in 3 simple steps. But it's important to understand how transfers work before creating one via the API.

  1. Create a transfer recipient .

  2. Initiate the transfer.

  3. Confirm the transfer has been completed.

Transfer to Barter Accounts

Rave allows you to make super fast transfers at N25 to your customers' Barter accounts. If your recipient does not have a barter account, a new account would be created for them in the process.

Transferring to Barter via API can be completed in 3 simple steps:

  1. Create a transfer recipient

  2. Initiate the transfer

  3. Confirm the transfer has been completed.
